What do you do?
The Magic Foam Experience team brings a foam system unit with fire hoses to blast Snofoam into the air and onto the trees and ground, and onto any participants wanting to play in the foam. We also play music for added fun!
How much does it cost?
Nothing! The Magic Foam Experience is free for everyone! It exists just to share the magic and joy with our local communities.
How long does it take?
The actual interactive time with the foam can last from 30 minutes to several hours, depending on how many people are participating. We’ll need at least a half hour - usually not more than an hour, to set up.
What is needed?
Ideally, there is a hose spigot or larger water source for us to link into. Beyond that, we are self-sufficient. If you do have local power that we can plug into, that may be helpful for our activation! It’s also great for us to come and visit your event site ahead of time to understand the space and plan accordingly. Also, it’s a good idea to let your participating event goers know the foam will be happening ahead of time, and advise them to bring a towel and change of clothing.
Can you blast foam on Astroturf?
Sorry, we don’t blast foam on Astroturf.
What is the clean up like?
The Snofoam will dissipate on it’s own over the course of a few hours, depending on how cold or how much sunshine there is that day. There is no need to rinse away the Snofoam.
Do we need to rinse it off?
Yes. It is always recommended to rinse the foam off of the skin afterwards. The MFE Team brings a rinse station for this purpose. That’s why it’s a great idea to bring a towel and an extra change of clothing.
How many people can participate?
Depending on the scope of your event, as few as a dozen kids or as many as 1,000+ can enjoy the foam. We’ll come up with a plan together on how to stagger to get the most enjoyment out of it for everyone.
Can we offer this as an incentive to “good” students, or certain groups of people at our event?
It is very important that the Magic Foam Experience is inclusive to EVERYONE at your school or organization. We will not foam unless everyone present is allowed to participate!
Do you do private parties, or kid’s birthday parties?
We do not entertain private parties or kid’s birthday parties. The purpose of the Magic Foam Experience is to share the joy with the community, so we focus on schools and community events that are open to the public.
How far will you travel for an event?
The West coast Magic Foam Experience team is only able to travel within Southern California. The East coast team sticks to the environs of Asheville, NC. For very large events, we’ll decide on a case by case basis whether it’s environmentally sound make the trip on the road with our equipment.
What is your policy or approach toward Covid-19 risks?
Dr. Bronner’s takes Covid-19 very seriously, so we make sure to wear our masks indoors and when in close proximity with others. Our entire public facing team has been fully vaccinated and all of our employees get tested weekly prior to entering HQ. Fortunately, the soap is a proven virus killer! So by washing our hands, having our events outdoors, social distancing, and wearing masks we feel confident about the safety of our participants at Magic Foam Experience events.
